6-Hit Blitz by Hobbs | Sam Hobbs really sizzled at the plate in his team's 28-3 win over the Mobile Clippers. The New Orleans third baseman blistered Mobile for 6 hits in 8 at-bats.
"Hobbs was too tough to get out today," the Clippers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
