Kenyon Raps Sherman for 5 Hits
A jubilant Henry Kenyon joined the postgame press conference at Hertiage Park to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Sherman Generals pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the San Antonio Vaqueros starting pitcher, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-7 hitting performance, which led to the 21-9 Vaqueros win.

"He made it look easy," said , manager of the Generals. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Henry Kenyon struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

Thus far this season, Kenyon has worked 22 innings with 14 strikeouts en route to a 0-0 record and a 5.32 ERA.
