There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Jimmy Langley is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Galveston Gulls at Gulfview Field. The monster effort from the 25-year-old shortstop helped the Austin Stars get the win, 15-4.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Gulls manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Jimmy Langley hit a solo-shot off Jim Kellogg in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Kellogg in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

This season in 62 games, Langley is batting .383 with 10 home runs, 58 RBIs and has scored 89 times.
