Vance Tags Stars for 5 Hits
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Galveston's Charles Vance made it happen against the Stars. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and helped the Gulls triumph, 21-3, at Gulfview Field.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Vance said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Charles Vance grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Tom Bryant in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
