The 26-year-old right fielder scattered hits all over Laclede Park to pace the 11-6 St. Louis Sports victory over the Des Moines Pioneers.
Des Moines skipper Alex Delgado told reporters in the press room that "Delgado deserves a hat-tip."
"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Delgado hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."
Juan Delgado doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th.
Delgado is currently hitting at a .364 pace with 1 home run and 32 RBIs. He has played in 83 games and scored 53 times.
