| Johnson Has 25-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, September 13th , 1896 Royce Johnson continued his streak at Honor Field, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Des Moines right fielder was 1-for-3 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 25 games. The Pioneers were not as fortunate, losing, 6-5, to the Milwaukee Knights.
