Tewksbury on Fire: 5-for-7 for Detroit
Mort Tewksbury found his groove in today's game versus the Louisville Stallions and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5-for-7 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough for the Detroit Spartans, as the club lost the game, 6-5.

The 28-year-old right fielder told the press "it was one of those days where everything clicked."

"I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in," Tewksbury said.

Mort Tewksbury singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 14th.
