The Chicago Catamounts licked the Boston Brahmins, 5-2. Donald Persaud deserved a big chunk of the credit. The pitcher threw 9.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the Catamounts. The Catamounts lead the National Alliance by 5½ games.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Persaud hit a 2-run double off Woody Ross. It propelled the Catamounts into the lead, 3-1.
