| Vulcans Pull Out Late Win, 3-2 | The Pittsburgh Vulcans earned a close win over the Baltimore Bannermen, thanks in part to Dennis Catchings. The Pittsburgh right-hander, who leads the IA in quality starts with 7, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. In 9 innings, Catchings surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2.
