| Brahmins Bump Off Catamounts, 3-2 | The Boston Brahmins eked out a 3-2 win versus the Chicago Catamounts at Brahmins Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Woody Ross. He was terrific. Ross, now 9-13, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Boston bumps their record to 33-25 with the win.
Arnold Petry helped out the Boston cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
