Dutchmen Get Clutch Win Versus Washington
The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

Cincinnati picked up a win at Over-the-Rhine Park, bumping off the Washington Columbians, 4-3. Pitcher Franklin Fuller was a major reason the Dutchmen emerged victorious. Fuller yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 11 hits, walked 0, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-26.

Jim Frank was the walk-off hero for Cincinnati. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dutchmen center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Fuller said.

The defeat makes Washington 22-38.
