Both offenses were feeble at Halsted Street Grounds. Fortunately for the Chicago Catamounts, though, Donald Persaud delivered in the clutch. He threw 9.0 innings of 3-hit ball, to help his team topple the Washington Columbians, 2-1. At 45-24, the Catamounts are currently first in the National Alliance.
