| Hutchings Twirls Bells to Shutout Win | Nathan Hutchings spun his magic in a shutout victory at Halsted Street Grounds, 3-0, over the Chicago Catamounts. The Philadelphia pitcher put quite a spell on Chicago in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling 1 walk and 2 strikeouts.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Hutchings said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
