Vulcans Post 7-4 Win Over Indianapolis
The Pittsburgh Vulcans picked up a win at Western Grounds, knocking off the Indianapolis Westerners, 7-4. Starting pitcher Stanley Lamb was a big reason why. Indianapolis drops to 11-13.

Pittsburgh relied on the bat of Jasper Kent to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Vulcans ahead, 3-1. For the game, Kent had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Lamb.
