Cyclones Rally to Nose Past Indianapolis
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Chicago Cyclones and Indianapolis Westerners.

Victor Anderson, who finished 3rd in the FL in ERA with 2.86 last year, propelled his team to victory over the Indianapolis Westerners. The final score was 4-3, Chicago. Anderson yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 21-23.

Chicago used a timely hit from Conn Bolick to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Bolick told reporters after the game: "Took some doing, but we got it done."

By defeating Indianapolis, the 4th-place Cyclones improved to 62-53.
