Victor Anderson, who finished 3rd in the FL in ERA with 2.86 last year, propelled his team to victory over the Indianapolis Westerners. The final score was 4-3, Chicago. Anderson yielded 3 runs over 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 21-23.

Chicago used a timely hit from Conn Bolick to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
