Federals Drop 5-2 Decision
The Chicago Cyclones got a marvelous performance from pitcher Victor Anderson. The right-hander kept the Washington offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 5-2 Chicago victory at Garrison Grounds. Chicago has now won 3 straight, while the Federals have lost 3 in a row.

Morgan Cook helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Cyclones.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Chicago manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
