Pittsburgh starter Stanley Lamb pitched well against the Indianapolis Westerners at Vulcan Grounds. The left-hander led his team to a win, 8-3. With the win, the Vulcans improved to 63-59.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Vulcan Grounds crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
