Bannermen Double Up Boston, 4-2
The Baltimore Bannermen got a stellar effort from pitcher Hugh Brigand, helping Baltimore score a win over the visiting Boston Brahmins, 4-2. Baltimore, at 62-61, holds down 4th place in the International Association.

Jim Durr's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with the bases loaded and the game tied, 1-1. The Baltimore right fielder hit a 2-run single off Roy Kane to put the Bannermen up.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Durr.
