Brahmins Grounds was the site of an exciting ballgame between the St. Louis Pilots and Boston Brahmins.

The St. Louis Pilots did just enough to sneak past the Boston Brahmins, 7-6, at Brahmins Grounds. St. Louis first baseman Bulldog Ayers, in particular, had a standout performance. After today's action, St. Louis sits at 61-35, while Boston falls to 51-48.

John Tennison, who is tied for 8th in the IA in extra base hits with 32, helped out the St. Louis cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 5.
