Bannermen Win Streak Now at 8 After 7-3 Victory
The Baltimore Bannermen picked up a win at Banner Field, knocking off the Boston Brahmins, 7-3. Starting pitcher Bill Silvers was a big reason why. Silvers, now 17-16, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 4, and allowing 3 runs. Now 31-77, Boston has dropped 11 games in a row.

The Boston Brahmins had some chances. With Boston trailing 7-1 in the top of the 8th, Cecil Mathews hit a 2-run single. But it was too little too late for the Brahmins. Boston manager said afterward that his team would learn from this latest defeat.
