Tigers Get Clutch Win Versus Boston
Well, that's how to end a game in style.

Montreal right-hander Stu Archibald pitched his team to victory over the Boston Minutemen at St. Gabriel Grounds. The final score was 7-6. The Tigers improved their record to 55-31 by beating Boston.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Minutemen allowed the Tigers to score the winning run.

"No one can call baseball boring," said Tigers manager . "Not after a game like that."
