The Boston Minutemen defeated the Indianapolis Stars, 6-1, in International Association action at State Fair Grounds. Boston pitcher Roy Kane had a standout performance. The Minutemen, at 24-66, sit in last place in the International Association.

Kane confounded Indianapolis hitters. Over 9 innings, he allowed 1 run on 7 hits.
