| Brahmins Get Dramatic 1-0 Win | Peter Gates, who is on pace to win 31 games this season, was sensational in shutting out the Toronto Provincials, 1-0. The 5th-place Brahmins bumped their record to 64-58.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Boston left fielder Paul Trail, facing Glen Nalley, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Brahmins the 1-0 win.
