Provincials Earn Win with Late Rally
The Toronto Provincials topped the Kansas City Prairie Dogs, 6-5, with third baseman Edsel Geyer playing a big role. Geyer went 3-3 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Provincials in the win. The Provincials now have a mark of 67-55.

Bill Lucier did the little things right to help the team for Toronto. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Lucier, who finished 3rd in the IA in runs with 135 last year, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Kansas City hurler Jon Baxter, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run to give the Provincials a 6-5 lead.
