The Baltimore Bannermen outlasted the Boston Brahmins in an extra-inning thriller.

The Baltimore Bannermen nipped the Boston Brahmins, 3-2, at Banner Field. Baltimore pitcher Hugh Brigand, in particular, starred. Brigand yielded 2 runs over 11 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 6, and struck out 2. His record improves to 25-23.

The Bannermen got a clutch hit from catcher Frank Flowers. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bannermen.

"The house was rockin'," said Flowers.
