| Baltimore Comes up Empty Against Ranson | Kenneth Ranson was dynamite at Queen City Grounds II, blowing away the Baltimore Bannermen in a shutout victory. The Cincinnati Monarchs starter had everything working as he held the Bannermen to 1 hit in the 8-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Baltimore skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Ranson finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.
