| Cyclones Walk It Off for 20th Win of Season | The Chicago Cyclones got great pitching from former first round draft pick Victor Anderson, allowing them to bump off the Indianapolis Westerners, 2-1. Anderson got the win, improving to 8-8. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Chicago raised its record to 20-19.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Chicago. That's when Eli Atwood hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Wilton Strickland to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Atwood said.
