Bolick Powers Cyclones to 9-3 Win
In the 9-3 Chicago win over Indianapolis, the impact of Conn Bolick was substantial. Bolick, who led the FL in extra base hits with 77 last year, went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Chicago pitcher Jim Lucier earned the win, hiking his record to 10-6. Doc Burbank suffered the loss. Chicago is 5th in the Federal League with a record of 21-21.

Early in the game, Bolick had a 3-run home run for Chicago. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Cyclones on top, 3-0.

"It never gets old," said Bolick. "Winning, that is."
