In the 9-3 Chicago win over Indianapolis, the impact of Conn Bolick was substantial. Bolick, who led the FL in extra base hits with 77 last year, went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Chicago pitcher Jim Lucier earned the win, hiking his record to 10-6. Doc Burbank suffered the loss. Chicago is 5th in the Federal League with a record of 21-21.
