New York Wins, 14-9, in Extra Innings
Conn Bolick did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Chicago Cyclones an extra-inning, 14-9 loss to the New York Barons at Garrison Grounds. Bolick was 3-6 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Billy Bigley earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 1-0. The Barons now own a record of 23-25.

With one out in the top of the 12th, David King had a game-changing hit. The Barons third baseman slammed a 2-run single off Harlan Akins, making the score 12-9, New York.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said King.
