Indianapolis Westerners pitcher Wilton Strickland whisked his team past the Louisville Colts, 6-2. Indianapolis is now 20-24, Louisville 22-22.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Western Grounds crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I was determined to go the distance," said Strickland.
