Riehl Torches Columbians for 5 Hits
It was a good day at Titans Grounds. The New York Titans whipped the Washington Columbians, 13-1, and catcher August Riehl showed off a hot bat, going 5-for-5 at the plate.

"Some days, lady luck is on your side," Riehl told BNN reporters after the game.

Titans manager told the beat writers otherwise, calling the 32-year-old "focused and patient."

"It's not luck," he said. "He has a solid approach to hitting. August hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have."

August Riehl hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

Riehl is hitting .336 in 1896 with 53 RBIs and 1 home run.
