| Blue Caps Roll Over Colts, 11-3 | The Cleveland Blue Caps racked up a win at Lakeside Grounds, bumping off the Louisville Colts, 11-3. Jack McKinley, who started for Cleveland, pitched effectively for his team. McKinley got the win, improving to 4-1. He gave up 8 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The Blue Caps, now 4-1, have hit the ground running this season.
Eli Money went 1 for 4 for Cleveland. The 24-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single off Woody Ross. It was his 6th hit of the season.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Money told the Cleveland Today.
