| Big Day for Biddle: Swats 5 Hits | It was a parade of hits for Ellis Biddle of the Detroit Spartans at Cass Avenue Grounds.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Biddle finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Spartans to a win, 21-0.
"Biddle was really good and we were really bad," groaned Satraps manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Ellis Biddle grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
