The rain came, as predicted, but the Toronto Provincials and Boston Brahmins were able to complete their ballgame.

Getting offensive support from Bill Lucier, the Toronto Provincials topped the Boston Brahmins, 14-4. Lucier was 3-5 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Provincials. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Toronto.

Doc McGuire had a big 2-run double for the Provincials in the top of the fourth inning. With Toronto leading 3-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from 25-year old right-handed pitcher John Killion and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Provincials ahead, 5-2.
