It's a No-No for Lucier
It was a fantastic day for Chicago Cyclones starter Jim Lucier and a lousy day for the Washington Federals.

The Chicago hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Federals, as the Cyclones cruised to a 9-0 win. When it was all over, Lucier was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.

"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Lucier said later.

He rang up 2 strikeouts and allowed no walks while shutting Washington down at Capitol Park.
