| Stars Suffer 8-4 Loss to Provincials | The Toronto Provincials knocked off the Indianapolis Stars, 8-4, in International Association action at Garrison Common Grounds. Toronto pitcher and Massena, New York, native Henry Clancy had an outstanding performance. Clancy, who finished 3rd in the IA in wins with 24 last year, went the distance for Toronto. He gave up 4 runs on 8 hits. This win makes it 5 in a row for Toronto.
Toronto took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Merritt Hunter hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Provincials.
