Despite a great performance by Toronto center fielder Isaac Montgomery, the Baltimore Bannermen defeated the Provincials by the score of 6-5 in 10 innings at Banner Field. Montgomery was 4 for 5 with 2 triples and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Bill Silvers got the win, improving to 9-9. He worked 10 innings, giving up 5 runs on 16 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. The Provincials, now 24-21, have lost 5 straight.

The Bannermen got a clutch hit from shortstop Allen Aiken. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Bannermen.
