Tigers Suffer 7-2 Road Loss
The Toronto Provincials welcomed the Montreal Tigers to an afternoon game at Garrison Common Grounds.

The Toronto Provincials beat the Montreal Tigers, 7-2. Toronto pitcher and Baltimore, Maryland, native Lawrence Phillips led the way. The victory gives Toronto a record of 26-20.

Third Baseman Edsel Geyer made an impact for Toronto, when he swatted a run-scoring triple off Stu Archibald in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Geyer was 1-3 with a triple and a walk.

"Lawrence gave us everything he had," said Toronto manager .
