Pilots Use Late Rally to Win 6th Straight
Charlie Scheer, who finished 5th in the IA in wins above replacement with 5.2 in 1885, led St. Louis to a win over Cleveland. The final score was 7-4. The center fielder collected 3 extra-base hits, including 1 triple and 2 doubles. He also delivered 1 RBI. St. Louis pitcher Bulldog Ayers got the win, upping his record to 13-3.
