Big Day by Bolick Ignites Cyclones Win
Conn Bolick added some punch to the Chicago offense, helping them outmuscle the New York Barons, 14-7. In the game, Bolick, who leads the FL in home runs with 16, went 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was former first round draft pick Victor Anderson. He tossed 141 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 7 runs on 11 hits. The win makes Chicago 49-50.

The Cyclones got a big hit from pitcher Victor Anderson. In the top of the sixth, Anderson smacked a 2-run double off New York pitcher Ted Carson. It was his 2nd double of the season. Suddenly, the Cyclones were ahead, 7-6.
