| Provincials Subdue Baltimore, 5-3 | The Toronto Provincials knocked off the Baltimore Bannermen, 5-3, in International Association action at Banner Field. Toronto pitcher and Hopkinton, Massachusetts, native Fred Brody had an outstanding performance. The 'W' lifts Toronto's record to 28-22.
With one out in the top of the second, Edsel Geyer put Toronto in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Provincials went on to win the ballgame.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Brody.
