| Robins Send Milwaukee Home with 8-1 Loss | The Rochester Robins racked up a win at Genessee Grounds, bumping off the Milwaukee Creams, 8-1. Tom Bell, who started for Rochester, pitched effectively for his team. Rochester is now 56-35, Milwaukee 35-55.
Larry Buckley had a big run-scoring double for the Robins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Rochester leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Nathan Hutchings, who is on pace to win 14 games this season, and swatted a double to center. It was his 22nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Robins ahead, 3-1.
"They took it to us," said Milwaukee manager .
