| Bannermen Win, 4-3, in Extra Frames | The Baltimore Bannermen racked up a win at Banner Field, bumping off the Cleveland Clippers, 4-3, in 10 innings. Bill Silvers, who started for Baltimore, pitched effectively for his team. The 5th-place Bannermen go to 34-40.
Baltimore got a clutch hit from Rich Spencer. The center fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Cleveland manager .
