The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Cincinnati picked up a win at Queen City Grounds II, bumping off the Toronto Provincials, 5-4. Pitcher Ashton Slake was a major reason the Monarchs emerged victorious. Slake, who finished 4th in the IA in innings pitched with 494.2 last year, went the distance for Cincinnati. He gave up 4 runs on 8 hits.

The two teams entertained the Queen City Grounds II crowd with some good baseball.

"This wasn't a good win," said Mason. "It was a great win."

Cincinnati is now 31-27.
