Brahmins Rally to Tally 5-4 Win
The Boston Brahmins beat the Baltimore Bannermen, 5-4, at Brahmins Grounds. The Brahmins got a fine performance from catcher Don Frison, who went 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Boston pitcher Tom Hagood got the win. He's now 7-15. Hugh Brigand was tagged with the loss. The 7th-place Brahmins bumped their record to 20-31.

The decisive blow was delivered by Cecil Mathews in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 18-year old left-handed pitcher Hugh Brigand to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Mathews said.
