Cincinnati Gets 6-3 Win Against Tigers
The Cincinnati Monarchs picked up a win at Queen City Grounds II, taking down the Montreal Tigers, 6-3. Starting pitcher Tom Bell was a big reason why. With the win, Cincinnati pushed its record to 34-28.

Thaddeus Harlan had a big run-scoring double for the Monarchs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cincinnati leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Jack Kerwin, who is on pace to win 23 games this season, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Monarchs ahead, 4-2.

"They had a good approach," Montreal skipper said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
