Durr Excels in 15-12 Baltimore Win
Jim Durr was the difference-maker for the Baltimore Bannermen in what turned into a shootout with the Boston Brahmins. Durr, who is tied for 10th in the IA in stolen bases with 39, went 4-for-5 in the 15-12 Bannermen win. Baltimore's record now stands at 38-44, placing them 5th in the International Association.

In the bottom of the ninth, Jeff Longley stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Brahmins were trailing 15-12, but had the bases loaded. That's when Bill Bartholomew made a terrific pitch and Longley grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Boston comeback.
