Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Bannermen
The Baltimore Bannermen beat the Montreal Tigers, 7-6, at Banner Field. Frank Lear was 3-5 with 3 triples, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The 28-year old center fielder was a menace to Montreal all day. The winning pitcher was Dennis Durr. He tossed 141 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 6 runs on 13 hits.
