Cyclones Deal New York 13-11 Defeat
The Chicago-New York matchup turned into a real hit parade.

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Steve Ferguson, the Chicago Cyclones defeated the New York Columbians, 13-11. Ferguson was 3 for 6 with a home run and a double, while scoring 4 runs for the Cyclones. The Cyclones, now 9-3, have been on fire in the early going.

Chicago relied on the hitting of Roman Washington to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the first inning to put the Cyclones on top, 4-0. For the game, Washington had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
