The Cincinnati Dutchmen topped the Chicago Catamounts, 4-3, in 10 innings at Over-the-Rhine Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati pitcher Charlie Cook. Chicago is 7-4 after the defeat.

The Dutchmen got a clutch hit from left fielder Louis Nadler. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Dutchmen.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Cincinnati manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
